Urine Spike Tracing (UST) Essential Steps to Complete:
- Visit the UST page and complete the registration form.
- Receive instructions and kit. You’ll receive an email confirmation from Quality Forensic Toxicology, LLC with easy-to-follow instructions. Your urine collection kit will be mailed to you.
- Submit your urine sample. Once your specimen has been analyzed by Quality Forensic Toxicology LLC, you will receive an email notification with your Urine Analysis with Creatinine report.
- Upon receiving your Urine Analysis with Creatinine report from Quality Forensic Toxicology LLC, please notify Dr. Jerod and provide him with your Lab Acc. # / Patient ID (found on your lab report).
- Dr. Jerod will subsequently schedule a consultation with you, during which he will use the provided Patient ID to access your UST report via the portal and review the findings with you.
- Consult with Dr. Jerod to determine the appropriate timing for your second UST, as allowing a suitable interval between assessments is recommended to better monitor changes over time.
Important: UST is an adjunctive research and monitoring tool, not a standalone diagnostic test or treatment decision-maker. All data is used exclusively for research purposes.
To derive maximum value from UST, it is recommended that it be conducted multiple times over an extended period to effectively monitor changes over time.
